Should I disable the “Enable kanji cards” option in JPDB (it’ll just disable RTK-style kanji recognition cards), and just learn kanji through vocabulary like the guy in [this video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=exkXaVYvb68) says to?
Chapter 4 of the Genki 1 workbook contains the following question:
Translate the following in Japanese: Yes, I have a lot of friends in Japan.
I answered it with 「はい、日本にたくさん友だちがいます」. This answer was wrong. The correct answer was 「はい、日本に友だちがたくさんいます」.
Was my answer really wrong considering that section 7 of chapter 4 of the textbook states that たくさん may be placed before the noun?
