13. “Ah, yes, overboard…” I say, nodding along as I look at an amount of sushi I would comfortably polish off by myself.

15. I went on a date to a sushi place, he asked what I liked, I said everything EXCEPT cream cheese rolls…ask me what this mf’er orders?! I should have asked if he mis-heard me, but he didn’t cus he mentioned it later in the evening.

16. I’m old enough to have gone to the first sushi shop in Boston with my fiancé, early 80s. Mind-blowing experience. We both loved it. We broke up though, not long after. I ended up marrying a Japanese woman. No cause and effect, but it is funny how that worked out.
