So I’m aware that in order to be able to drive with your IDP you need to be out of Japan for 90 days…my question is does that 90 days need to be consecutive. For example I was in the states from may-august but only for 81 days and am going back to states over Christmas for a few weeks. Would I be able to get a new IDP while I’m home for Christmas and it be valid in Japan?
