My wife and I have just moved into our house here a couple of days ago and needed help identify a few unfamiliar items. Anything info helps and we can take more pictures if needed!
1.Stick a pole between there to hang laundry 2. Towel rack 3. Knives 4. Emergency food/kit
1: There should be a corresponding one a short distance away – these are for hanging laundry poles to dry clothes.
2: Drying rack for washclothes/kitchen towels.
3: Knife rack
4: Very small “root cellar” for storing vegetables or fermenting pickles/miso.
1. You hang a laundry pole to hand and dry cloths
2. Towel holder
3. Knife rack
4. For storing vegetables
1. Those are exercise hoops. Meant for doing pull ups etc. in the morning. 2. Back scratchers. Comes in 3 different heights for the whole family. 3. That is the space under the sink where you can hide your TV when the NHK man comes 4. That is a very cute doggo.

Those laundry hangers are often easily removable. Push up and twist and they should come out. To put them back just insert the ball back into the socket and twist.
I think the official term for the fourth one is a “hooch hatch”
