A large number of sexualised images of children, believed to have been created by an image-generating AI, have been posted on a website run by an Osaka-based IT company. The Yomiuri Shimbun investigated under the supervision of experts and found that an estimated more than 3,000 images indistinguishable from live-action child pornography were posted every month, and that many of them were viewed from overseas. There are several similar Japanese websites, which could lead to further discussion.
