This will be my first trip to Japan and I’ll be traveling solo! I have a very rough idea of things that I would like to do and I have no clue if my plans are too much or too little. I will be spending 4 nights in Tokyo, 4 nights in Osaka, 3 nights in Kyoto, and then will be headed back to Tokyo for 3 more nights. Is this itinerary too busy? Or is it do-able?
I also know it’s probably not necessary to go to all of these Pokemon Centers, however, it is something that I would like to do.
Tokyo:
Wednesday 03/20:
Land at 3:30 at NRT, check into hotel, get dinner.
Probably look around for arcade/capsule machines.
Thursday 03/21
Explore Ahkihabara, Konda Shrine, Ueno, Sensō-ji. Head over to the Skytree along with the pokemon center.
Friday 03/22
Check out the Imperial Palace, Tokyo Tower, Scramble, Yoyogi Park, and Meiji Jingu.
I also plan to go to the Shibuya, Tokyo Station, and Tokyo DX Pokemon centers.
Saturday 03/23
Sugar Jinja, Kabukicho, Hakone-yama, Ikebukuro, and Kishimojin Temple. Of course hit the Pokemon Mega Center.
Osaka:
Sunday 03/24
I’ll be traveling down to Osaka. I plan to check out Sumiyoshi Taisha, Tsūtenkaku, and Tennoji Park.
I might stop in Nagoya to visit the pokemon center there, but this one is iffy since I don’t plan on spending time in Nagoya.
Monday 03/25
Osaka Castle, Osaka Tenmangu, Dontonbori, and Namba Yasaka Jinja. Visit Pokemon Center Osaka.
Tuesday 03/26
Day trip over to Nara. Visit Nara Park and Mount Yoshino.
Wednesday 03/27
Spend the day at Universal Studios.
Kyoto:
Thursday 03/28
Travel to Kyoto. Visit Arashiyama Bamboo Grove and park, and visit the Monkey park.
Friday 03/29
Walk Fushimi Inari Shrine, visit the nearby shopping street, and see Kyoto Imperial Palace. Stop by the Kyoto Pokemon Center.
Saturday 03/30
Take a day trip over to Kinosaki.
Back to Tokyo:
Sunday 03/31
I’ll be traveling back to Tokyo. I’m not currently sure what I might do this day.
Monday 04/01
Spend the day at Tokyo Disney Sea. Stop by the Tokyo Bay Pokemon Center.
Tuesday 04/02
Maybe visit Yokohama? I’d visit the Pokemon center here too.
Wednesday 04/03
Flight home at 10:40am at HND.

It’s a good itinerary, but in my opinion take your time! Your schedule is too jam packed with things (even for an active person) and you should try to cut half of the stuff you’re seeing, also personally all of the pokemon centers look the same, try to go to Tokyo Station and see other things than Pokemon! have fun with your first trip!
