This is one of the mind blowing things about Japan. This is just across Tokyo Bay from the biggest urban area in the world.

Oh man that entire restaurant experience looks amazing! So many side dishes!
That’s so awesome. Even though I can’t speak Japanese, one of my favorite things to do is chat with the owner/chef about things using google translate. Also went to a cocktail bar one evening where the owner attempted to walk me through how he developed his specials using local ingredients and how the flavors and textures change depending on the timing you’re drinking it. Not in the best English of course. But good enough.
It just looks so good, ahhh I miss home!
