I want to change from using a physical suica card to the mobile version but I find that my mobile has issues pretty often. And I don’t know if it’s a me problem, my iPhone’s problem, or my suica problem because no one else seems to have the same issue.
It just doesn’t read properly all of the time… it happens more often at vending machines. And once at a store. I’ll touch and the suica card will appear but it just gets stuck and won’t take the payment. And if I touch again, it won’t even pull up the suica card but I can see it circling at the top of my phone screen. Like today it read properly when I entered the ticket gate but not at the vending machine on the platform.

For iphone, usually I have to double tap power button first, pick suica, faceid, then tap it to vending machine.
Usually happen with vending machine that accepts multiple cashless option.
Also might be because I have multiple cards in wallet.
Would like to know too if there’s a way to default it to suica when no card is choosen.
