Hey! I’m a 16 year old who lives in Greece and wants to move in Japan for many reasons. It’s not a decision I made in a matter of seconds. Rather, I’ve been thinking about it for years (mostly because of the Greek Educational System)
I was originally planning to get a degree on English teaching and move there, but the grades required for me to get it here in greece, are 18.5/20 +, which means I have to write over 18/20 in latin, ancient greek, greek and history. The thought of it isn’t great and the lessons aren’t either.
I haven’t thought of a second plan, in case plan a doesn’t work out. One thing I’m certain is that I want to move to Japan.
I’m really good at drawing, even though I need to learn more about body anatomy and rendering. My mom told me that I should look for a job regarding drawing/painting, but I’m not sure. I don’t know anything about the payment in Japan as an artist.
Is it worth it to sacrifice my mental health just to get that english teaching degree, or just become an artist? (I forgot to mention I’d prefer drawing than teaching)
