8. For some unfamiliar, Kenoh is the grumpiest guy in wrestling. It’s totally in character for him to dunk on Kaito. He’s always this scowling curmudgeon that reminds me of my disappointed dad.

9. The more NOAH shit talks him, the more it becomes obvious that it’s a bit. But if Kaito’s time is up with NOAH, I’d be thrilled to see him in NJPW. He’s a pretty special talent.

    It’s pretty standard in Japan for wrestlers to do interviews with big publications totally in character/kayfabe. They protect the business much more over there, which is why their crowds are the best in the world.

    KENOH is the world champion in NOAH, he’s an old head at this point and along with guys like Go he has to be seen to be protecting the Ark/NOAH. Old heads busting the younger guys balls is a tale as old as time in Japan. It’s simple, and it works. Read these articles from the point of view of KENOH the character, not the man behind the gimmick.
