あげる券“ – if I got it correctly it’s the tip button.

It’s not really a tip… it’s an offer to buy the staff a drink. It’s not common to see a ticket for it in a machine, but the practice itself isn’t uncommon, and you’ll see it at a lot of small izakayas or local places that cater to a nightlife crowd.

Weird. Most Japanese find the concept of tipping insulting, implying that you have to bribe your server in order to get decent service.
