Question about SAT requirements for university in Japan.

I am applying to Ritsumeikan university and some other universities in Japan. I am wondering if it is a requirement that we had to take SAT in the USA. I didn’t get to take mine due to situations in school. Can I still get accepted without taking the SAT?

  1. Check the school’s website for the program you’re trying to enter. Every school has different requirements for students entering from abroad and exchange students.

That being said, are you trying to enter as a regular student to take a 4-year degree fully in Japanese? Because unless you’re already fluent that sounds… daunting. As someone who has studied the language for over 10 years and *just now* joined a full-Japanese work environment and finds it *very challenging*, you might want to dial back your expectations and start a bit smaller if that’s the case.
