Hi, I’ll be moving to Japan soon and need some advice about motorcycles, I’m from the UK and hold an A2 motorcycle licence, in the UK I would be able to get a Yamaha MT07 and install a restriction kit to allow me to ride it (Due to my licence). Would this be the same in Japan? I’ll be driving with an international driving permit. Are restriction kits for motorcycles legal in Japan? Or will I be restricted to a 400cc or below motorcycle as they have slightly different licensing in Japan compared to the UK.
