I’ve got a leaking tap in my kitchen.
I’m still waiting for my management company to assess the situation.
In the meantime, what has been your experience with plumbers?
If you can let me know the quotes you were charged, I would like to see what I may be expecting.

If anyone can recommend any plumbers within the 23 wards in Tokyo. English Support if possible.
Read a previous post which said to avoid calling plumbers from Google that state low prices starting from 5000 yen. https://www3.nhk.or.jp/news/html/20220330/k10013556881000.html

Thank you.

I have never met a competent tradesperson in Japan. That’s not to say they aren’t here, just that I wouldn’t trust one due to my experiences. For a leaking tap, I’d fix it myself. A quick trip to Kohnan, a few yennies for a tap washer and you’re done.
My wife and I had the same problem in our bathroom .. first estimate was high.. ended up getting 2 more estimates and a much more reasonable price…
I would guess first you need to find out if the management company will take care of it as they may have a company or person to take of it ..
