I love all hot sauces. Especially the sour varieties. Japan has tabasco covered. But Sriracha? I bought a small localized brand a couple of years back, too sweet, very different. :/
Any ideas? What other hot sauces should I try? Thank you!
* Love Chinese rayu too, which can be found in all Chinese specialty stores.

A thai friend buys the gyomu super sriracha and seems quite satisfied with it.
Any Kaldi has it.
Gyomu Super had 3 different brands the last time I went. Could be a good start.

And there was at least one more for sure, but it’s not listed on their website. They also have Harissa, Sambal, Mala sauce, etc. if you like these. More complete list [here](https://www.gyomusuper.jp/product/list.php?gc_id=201).
Costco has this: [https://mitok.info/?p=259611](https://mitok.info/?p=259611)
Someone mentioned Kaldi: [https://www.kaldi.co.jp/ec/Facet?inputKeywordFacet=sriracha](https://www.kaldi.co.jp/ec/Facet?inputKeywordFacet=sriracha)
[Hot Sauce Bar](https://www.hotsauce-bar.com/) is your friend. Not the cheapest, but delivered to your door and plenty of variety. Queen Majesty’s Scotch Bonnet Ginger is amazing.

There’s a sriracha vending machine in Ikebukuro that has them for like ¥700.
This doesn’t answer your question about Sriracha, but the periperi hot sauce at Kaldi is really good.
There’s a Sriracha vending machine in my neighborhood, so it shouldn’t be too difficult to find.
Literally see it at the supermarket
Got a blender? Buy some chili peppers at any korean/thai/mexican store and you’re good to go.
