Looking for feedback on a 4-day Osaka/Kyoto – Himeji – Tokyo Itinerary!

Hello everyone,

I will be visiting Japan this coming Friday-Monday, arriving at Kansai on Friday 11:30am, and departing from Haneda Tuesday morning. This will be my first time visiting, and so I am trying to fit in as much of the most important sights as I can. I am open to pretty much any advice, though no matter what I want to see Himeji Castle!

Here is my tentative itinerary:

* Friday: Quick lunch, then travel to Fushimi Inari Shrine, night in Kyoto
* Saturday: Early morning in Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, then travel to Himeji Castle, followed by train to Tokyo and night there
* Sunday: Senso-ji Temple and Tokyo National Museum, then Akihabara at night
* Monday: Imperial Palace, Meji Temple, then Shinjuku (Golden Gai etc)

I’ll also be sure to pop by Shibuya Crossing at some point – any recommendations as to when?

Generally, though, is this itinerary feasible? Is there a better way to order the schedule while preserving the same places? If it’s somehow possible, I was also interested in seeing the fall colors at Tofuku-ji!

Thank you in advance for any advice!
