So I’ve gotten multiple leaflets about a J:com maintenance visit cause my apartment conplex uses j:com apparently??? But my internet provider isn’t them… The most recent leaflet had handwritten circles and bolded dates so I’m getting worried if it’s actually mandatory. 😅 The intimidating blurb below:
「拝啓 時下ますますご清栄のこととお喜び申し上げます。 お住まいの建物でご覧の地上放送は、 J:COMより有線でお届けしております (ケーブルテ レビ対応住宅です) J:COMでは安定した電波を提供するために、 .配線の不具合の有無を定期的に確認させてい ただいております。 各お部屋での作業内容は、 壁面のテレビ端子にて電波出力レベルの測定 作業となります。 作業は20分程度で終了いたします。 また、ご希望の方には、 電波出カレベル測定後、J:COM電カサービス、 およびその他サービ ス (有料) のご案内とご利用方法についてこ説明させていただきます。 お忙しいところ大変恐縮ですが、 ご協力のほどよろしくお願い申し上げます。」
I’ve been ignoring them but this is the 4th leaflet they sent me… the maintenance day is soon approaching is it safe to ignore?

They’re checking cabling and signal level of terrestrial digital tv which is something they offer in addition to internet. you should let them in, it’s a 5 minute task.
Probably better if ask your management company if it’s mandatory? Don’t they have flyers posted around the building for necessary maintenance things like this?
If you do not use it anyways do not let them in if your uncomfortable.
