My friend recommended this place and he didn’t let me down.

It’s called sushi deli 3 and I got the best seller combo which came with miso soup, dragon roll, rainbow roll, crunchy roll, and California roll. So far it’s the best place I’ve been to but I kinda just started eating sushi.

  1. It looks like your average, basic sushi. When you’re a newb it’s good. Now that you’re used to this, it’s time to get WILD!!!! Enjoy!!

  2. Honestly it looks delicious don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Sometimes basic is all you need.

  3. Hey neat! I go here often too. I like the monthly special combo plate they offer. It’s a nice way to try samples of their various rolls each month.

  4. Before anyone else roasts this as looking like “whatever” sushi, let me provide context as someone who considers this their favorite sushi spot in San Diego:

This place is the ultimate balance of price and quality. Best sushi ever? Definitely not. Great sushi? Debatable. But 4 different tasty half rolls and a miso soup for $14~ is where its at – especially when i see a single spicy tun roll go for $10 or a caterpillar for $18 at other places.

Plus their menu has a wide variety of non-sushi options as well as delicious vegetarian rolls that arent just avocado cucumber. Pair that with $4 Saporro and it’s a place I would always like to take a friend

  5. I used to go to Sushi Deli 2 a million years ago when I was in college and I loved that place. Totally forgot about it until this post sounded really familiar. Glad they’re still around. So much cheap sushi and sake bombs. I miss San Diego.
