How to pay a Sumitomo bank account

I’m still new here and trying to learn the processes for everything, so would someone mind explaining the easiest way to make a payment to a Sumitomo bank account for a bill of mine? I’ve gone to MUFG bank and paid an account there via an ATM before (Japan Post, my bank, said I should go there directly instead of transferring the money I believe because the fees were less?) – so would I do the same thing at Sumitomo? Everything in my home country is done by debit card vs. account transfer/deposit, so apologies for the simple question.
