Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this but do any native speakers understand this Japanese metal band? Depending on the song, it’s very difficult to actually understand since they mix English words in it.
Not native Japanese, but as an English person listening to English/US Metal, I can’t even understand that mostly so I imagine it’s safe to assume the same regardlesss of language.
I am a Japanese living in Japan.
I like Maximum the Hormone, but even for a native speaker, it’s often difficult to understand what they are saying unless they are looking at the lyric card.
Even when I’m looking at the lyric card, sometimes I find myself saying, “Huh? What part of the song are they singing now? And sometimes I don’t know lol.
I’m sorry if the OP’s post is referring to the meaning of the lyrics.
A lot of Japanese fans on their YouTube comments state how even they can’t understand them haha
My wife is Japanese and doesn’t understand half a sentence MTH are singing. Adding to the difficulty of the music style itself I read that a lot of the lyrics are gibberish.
