Shipping some belongings FROM Japan to South Africa

Hi, as you can see I may need to ship some of my belongings from Japan to South Africa by the end of the year. Amongst this is a computer and monitor, some hard drives, a camera and a lot of documents and probably lots of mail. If anyone can help with good (the cheaper the better) services to send them over I would greatly appreciate it. I’ve tried googling it myself but the prices quoted are… very high and I’m desperately hoping for a better option as I am pretty screwed right now.

Long story short, the people who promised me they would hold it until I can get it back myself are fucking me over and saying they’re going to junk all of it come 2024. I’m trying to delay them by threatening police and legal action but I don’t think I can afford to actually fight it.

Sorry if I’m in the wrong subreddit.

  2. Packing it all up in a suitcase and paying excess baggage fees is probably the most practical option. Sell everything you absolutely don’t need like the monitor.
