Osaka and Nagoya itinerary check and feedback

Hi all!

I’m planning to visit Japan for around a week in mid / end January, have some questions on my itinerary and also hope to gather feedback / suggestions as well.

**Day 1 – Fly into Osaka, spend the day around Osaka station before travelling to Nagoya**

* Arrive in Osaka in the morning
* Umeda Sky Building Observatory
* HEP FIVE Ferris Wheel
* Transit to Nagoya via Tokaido-Sanyo Shinkansen
* Food to eat:
* Tsukemen Tetsu Hankyu-Sambangai (Osaka)
* Misokatsu Yabaton (Nagoya)

**Day 2 – Nagashima Spaland and Nabana no Sato**

* Nagashima Spaland theme park in the morning and afternoon
* Nabana no Sato in the evening / night

**Day 3 – Day trip to Museum Meiji-Mura from Nagoya**

* Bus from Meitetsu Bus Center to Meiji
* Food to eat: Maruya Honten (Grilled Eel)

**Day 4 – Nagoya in the day, travel back to Osaka at night**

* Atsuta Shrine
* Nagoya Castle
* Mirai Tower
* Food to eat:
* Komeda’s Coffee
* Ekikama Kishimen
* Yamamotoya
* Transit to Osaka in the evening via Shinkansen

**Day 5 – Free day in Osaka**

* Not planned yet, but am thinking of visiting [Hoshi No Buranko](https://livejapan.com/en/in-kansai/in-pref-osaka/in-osaka-suburbs/article-a2000215/), not sure if it’s worth a visit during the winter?

**Day 6 – Universal Studios Japan**

Would like to find out:

* Are any of the attractions above closed during winter?
* Should I get a JR pass for this trip?
* Can the tickets for Nagashima Spaland and Nabana no Sato purchased online? Can’t seem to find a website to purchase them online
* For the bus from Meiji-Mura back to Nagoya, would like to check if there’s only 1 bus departing Meiji on weekdays at 4:30PM based on this [timetable](http://www.meitetsu-bus.co.jp/express/toukadai/)?
* How are the crowds like in January for Nagashima and USJ? Will not be visiting them on weekends
* Any alternative itinerary ideas for my free day in Osaka
* Any other suggestions on places to include as well

Thank you!
