    Hm, if there are a limited number of entrances for these comings and goings, and there are no doubt old boys waving lightsabers at people as they pass, then surely it would only take a moment to run some Geiger-Müller radiation detectors over each person and vehicle at these checkpoints?

    It won’t stop lightfingered folks from stealing stuff, but at least it might help to prevent whoever they sell it to from being too badly irradiated.
