Hello everyone!
I’m applying to a master’s program at Kyoto University. I’m done with the AAO process as well as the eligibility screening. I passed both and I’ve been allowed to take the entrance examination. I’ve submitted all the requirements for which I was issued an examination voucher last week.
Today, we’re supposed to receive our schedule and the instructions for the conduct of the interview. However, I did not receive any email on this matter. The guidelines do say that the instructions will be sent to those applicants required to take the interview.
I now wonder if my application has been rejected. I’ve searched online and reread the admission guidelines countless times but there seems to be no information on this.
Does anyone have the same experience? Should I email the school about it?

I think every grad school in Kyoto uni is different, but from my experience, the details of the interview were announced after the written examination. IIRC, only some of the applicants need to do the interview. From what I remember, the interview was held the day or 2 days after the examination.
