Cat for adoption. Kanto(Ibaraki, Tokyo)

Hello.

I found a kitten on Saturday, who I think has been abandoned. I live in a dorm in Tsukuba, so it’s not allowed to keep a pet inside, but I couldn’t let the kitten alone outside.

Additionally, an old man was throwing rocks at him so he would move away from his restaurant’s front door.

Yesterday, I went to the vet and they checked him. He was around 4 months old and one of his paws was hurt. He had a cold and a bit of fever. I took some medicine for him and I’m giving him some 2 times a day. I think it’ll be fine.

Unfortunately, I will move out of Japan in 10 days and these are the last days I need to prepare a lot of stuff to move out.

I’m looking for a place for him, but it’s quite tough.

The shelters, I hear, that they kill the animals and I don’t trust the “non-profit” organizations around…

He is so adorable, quiet, has a lot of appetite, clean and he already knew how to use the litter box. He is a long-haired orange kitty.

Please let me know if you are interested, or if anyone you know is willing to take care of him or adopt him.

Thanks!

  2. Japan Cat Network and Animal Refuge Kansai (they have people in Kanto too). One of them will be able to help.
