Hi let me know if this post is not related to this subreddit 🙂
I’m moving back to Japan next year for university and have applied for Sophia University and will apply for Waseda on January. However, what I noticed is that the matriculation (entrance fees etc..) deadline for Sophia is April 12 and the result of acceptance for waseda is April 15. In this case, If I want to go to Waseda but dont want to risk not accepting Sophia, what do I do?!? I don’t understand why Sophia made their payment deadline before the waseda results considering most students apply for both unis.. Please help me out 😭 I saw sophia refunds parts of the fees but not all…

Because the want your money, trying to outbid competitor..
They want you to commit.
it sucks but id recommend to accept sophia just in case. money comes n goes, its not worth the risk. i studied at sophia too, what program are u applying for? 🙂
Normal thing for a lot of unis, just eat the fee if you want to feel safe.
