Winter tasting menu – $108 pp, soho modern japanese


1. Oyster w champagne mignonette, shiromi kaki carpaccio with persimmon miso, toro truffle tartare, ebi crudo with uni shoyu and tobiko

2. Masu/aburi masu (?), seared sake, chutoro

3. Chawanmushi with ikura, shrimp, clam, scallop

4. Individual japanese wagyu shabu shabu

5. Matcha panna cotta (best dessert i ever had)

Unpictured second round of nigiri that was unfortunately kind of disappointing and not very memorable.

    Ichika in Milpitas is pretty interesting if you want a similar kaiseki experience

    I agree their pastry chef makes incredible dessert. Springtime they had a peach cremeux that was heavenly
