Suginoi Honami, Kanazawa


Winter menu — in order of photos:
1. Female snow crab with spinach (香箱蟹、法篷草)

2. Sashimi — Tuna, pink shrimp, grouper, whelk and filefish (鯖、甘海老、はた、梅貝、かわはぎ)

3. Boiled chrysanthemum leaves, mustard filled lotus root, sweet potato, shrimp stuffed shiitake mushroom, grilled potatoes with cheese, sweet and sour pickled chinese yam, squid and dried daikon radish dressed with miso (新菜お渡し、辛子根、椎の海老詰め、丸十蜜煮
じゃが芋チーズ焼き、長芋甘酢漬け、島賊と切干大根の味噌和え)

Kaiseki experience served in a large private dining room. There are a lot more items on the menu and I’m just showing a few. Worth a special trip and worth the ¥¥¥¥.
