The question is specifically about finding a place to live rather than than the importation process.
The dog is mid-sized.
Ideally, we’d like to live in the Tokyo Ward area, but I realize it might not be possible. The two non-negotiables are: withing commute distance to Tachikawa, convenient public transportation (driving is not an option).
Our income is not certain yet. It might be 1.6M JPY / month at the lowest. 2.8M JPY / month at the highest.
Do you think it’s doable? Or should we start considering alternative arrangements for our pets?
We would probably compromise on many things before we chose not to take our pets along, but I aslo realize that is might just be impossible in the end.
