Kombucha or Scoby in Tokyo?

My stomach needs some TLC, and I wanted to try drinking kombucha to see if it helps (it has in the past, back in the US). I’ve never found kombucha pre-made here. I HAVE found some scoby on Amazon for way too much money, since I’ve never made it myself before and would basically be gambling that I can make it work. Plus, the scoby they sell are like microscopic.

Anyone have any leads?

  1. One thing to be careful about is that summer places sell 昆布茶 written in English as kombucha.
