Itinerary Check/Help 16 days | Kyoto, Osaka, Tokyo

Hi! I’m going to Japan for the first time in a couple of weeks and I wanted to check my itinerary with all the nice people here. Some parts have more detail than others, specifically having difficulty deciding on restaurants. I figure I’ll just find something nearby whenever I get hungry, but if there’s a must eat place that I should check beforehand please let me know! All feedback and suggestions are welcome!

Some background info on me:

M, 27 in a week ish, Traveling alone for the majority of the time, Little to no Japanese (but i’ve been studying), likes anime, games, jpop, architecture, electronics. Non-drinking, non-smoking as well.

Feel free to recommend any events/concerts/etc!

I have a suica that I got from a coworker, and a mobal sim card w/ phone # which should be delivered tomorrow so I can register for some events on eplus.

* Also if this is a truly terrible idea to try to go around to these places on New Years Day let me know and I’ll probably just try to make it to Senso-ji, Tennoji, and a local market area maybe.
