Hello ya’ll! I’m not sure if this is the appropriate community to post this on but I’m a bit confused. I just got offered a job in a hostel and I was told to submit a resume (rirekisho).
I already talked to the person who will hire me but I had a middleman who spoke english to me and told the director that I will gladly take the offer. I will be cleaning the hostel and handling the guests (checking in/out) stuff like that.
Well, my question is, should I write my resume in english or japanese? I don’t know the language very well YET and I’m still studying. I can write a bunch but I’m worried they couldn’t read it! lol I asked the middleman and he told me I can just write it in english and then they’ll just translate it into japanese but I would like to write it in japanese so it won’t be a hassle for them to read it.
OR Is it a good idea to put another copy of the english resume on top of the japanese resume?
Any suggestions will help!

so you are in contact with a middle man over this job who advised you to
>told me I can just write it in english
but something inside just couldn’t get you to trust what is this person is saying (which is basically their job), and so you decided to instead opt for the opinion of random people on the internet?
Great reasoning there my friend. I suggest you listen to the person who is doing their job in advising you on how you should proceed
