I am not in seattle, but in my city in Uruguay, they do ask for the print version of the voucher. Maybe you can check the website or social media of your test site.
I recommend always being prepared for a fully analog experience with the JLPT. There should be info with your registration or on the host site, though.
You might be okay with the phone screen, but I’d highly recommend printing it. I seem to remember last year (took the JLPT in the US) that they marked my paper registration when I checked in, and that was referenced by the proctor? I could be misremembering details, but I was grateful I had printed it.
Always best to be 101% prepared.
I took it last year at Udub. I printed it at work. But go to the library and print it.
