If you don’t want to try on, I recommend online shopping, for example GRL (https://www.grail.bz)
There are many cute and inexpensive products.
There should be products you want !
*Axes Femme* sells such coats
The white version of this coat is stinkingly cute:

Most of the MASH-owned brands like Snidel, Celford, Mila Owen, Lily Brown, etc., are super popular and have very nice quality. You can find a nice selection of their coats on [this](https://usagi-online.com/s/231018LAB_USG/?link=spr_bnr_sp01) page.
Snidel and Lily Brown might have more “cute” styles. While it’s a bit more mature, I bought [this](https://usagi-online.com/brand/randeboo/item/RNB0123F0001?areaid=sp231018LAB_U) coat at the pop up today and I’m absolutely in love with it.
Zara and barney’s new york in ginza have really nice coats and jackets. Their products are really good. Or Gucci if you’re into that.
In Shinjuku station underground I once bought a very cute coat for someone but I can’t recall the name. If 400USD in in your budget, I might think harder about it.
uniqlo has these chest coat and trench coat too on salr
H&M has everything.
If you are in Tokyo go to Lumine EST. Enter via Shinjuku and start with B1. Voila
