Hi all; I want to do a day trip from Kanazawa to Yamanaka Onsen and Natadera temple. Wondering if anyone has done this or is familiar with the area. I’m not quite sure on the specific stops the buses make. This is all I’d like to do if it’s not too much crammed into a day trip
Natadera temple
Hiyo koke no moss garden
Yamanaka onsen; kakusenkei gorge; riverwalk, lunch at the gorge cafe; yamanaka za theatre if there’s a performance at the time and end with a soak at the kiku no yu bathhouse
From what I can find i can get there fairly quickly by taking the thunderbird from Kanazawa station to kaga onsen; then CAN bus to Natadera temple and moss garden. (not sure about the moss garden. anyone know?)
Do I then go back to kaga onsen to take a different bus to Yamanaka Onsen or will the CAN bus take me there? If not doable in one day, what would you cut out?
