When I was first introduced to sushi as a whole, I always loved nigiri, and sashimi made me wanna puke. But as I’ve gotten older I decided to try sashimi again. I had this sashimi sampler, and damn. You really can appreciate the superb quality of fish and the flavor with sashimi. I might be a changed man.

Going out I always felt like I wasn’t taking full advantage of my options going for sashimi, because a roll would be more filling for the same price. Now that I make it at home, I love sashimi.

Idk how one can enjoy nigiri if one’s reaction to sashimi is so extreme. It’s literally just sashimi with a bit of rice.
