San Consulting – legit or scam?

I’ve been considering working in Japan (Canadian citizen). Missed the deadline for the JET Programme so that’s not a possibility. Came across San Consulting on a job board. It seems like it’s for placing people in ski and beach resorts in Japan. Am wary of it though; it seems like a good opportunity to exploit people naive enough to not do their research. Anyone had any experience with them able to weigh in?

Sorry if this isn’t the right place for this. Couldn’t post to /r/teachinginjapan since this isn’t really about… yknow… teaching.

  2. Never heard of them, but it sounds like they’re geared towards folks using the working holiday program.

Yolo Japan is a pretty big name in this space, you may want to check them out. World Unite is another company that focuses on helping folks out with working holidays.

Keep in mind that the working holiday visa will give you at most 1 year in Japan (18 months for Australians). So you can’t use it long term. https://www.mofa.go.jp/j_info/visit/w_holiday/index.html
