Posted on TikTok and was surprised I was getting views in the single digits. I suppose the algorithm works that way if I haven’t posted in a good while.

I want to bring my cat (in US with my family) to Japan but I’m worried about all the processes for bringing cats from the US to Japan and that he’ll end up put in quarantine which I would hate for him. If I end up bringing him I’ll of course do my absolute best to make sure the scheduling of vaccines and tests etc is all done correctly, but just in the hypothetical chance I make a mistake or they want to put him in quarantine anyway, **can I just turn around with him at the border and go on the next plane back to the US (like when someone is turned away at the border, only this time it’s voluntary)?** (generally, I’m curious how being turned away at the border works anyway – how does one get a seat booking behind the border and so on)? I know if everything is done correctly, it’s unlikely but it is something I keep worrying about, so I’d like to know if that’s possible in a worst-case scenario.
Does your Costco still have Kirkland brand Cheddar Cheese? The whole display was replaced with low-moisture mozz. The sign for cheddar is gone, but the sign for colby-jack was still there (over the mozz). None in the other area with the Tillamook, etc.
That cheddar was my main reason for going today, and top two of normal visits (that and American-style smoked bacon). If it’s gone-gone, I will be devastated.
Has anyone ever come across any stats about how the children of foreigners fare in Japan when they become adults? In many countries they tend to lag behind fully “native” counterparts in terms of income, etc, but i reckon it might be different here
