You ever just apply to a job posting without really looking past the pay and location? Because who cares, you’re likely to get shot down, but then you start getting random Microsoft Teams invites, and when you accept, your frantically looking through your emails so you can BS your way through a 30 interview saying shit like “I think I’m ready for the challenge of being the first foreign manager of the restaurant chains you franchise here, for the following reasons.”
All while your oldest kid keeps walking in the background, that ever happen to anyone?
I didn’t see my Monday ending that way, but hey, life is full of surprises. Like your youngest getting pink eye and now you need to juggle who works and when with your wife.
