Damn, wish I had this list when I was there. Saved anyway for when I return
Habibi i don’t personally know you but I’m glad that i came across this post to realize that there are people in here that prefer halal food and i would like to say thank you for compiling this list. There are zero posts on this sub regarding halal food option in japan( searched “halal” on the sub and couldn’t find anything relatable) and this would benefit not only muslims but others with similar dietary restrictions. I was in japan in July and i wish i had known about these resturants prior/during my trip. While i don’t have a plan to travel to japan anytime soon, I’ll be saving this post for future reference and hopefully people will add more halal meal restaurants as they see this post. I would like to add that “gyukatsu motomura” is also one of the restaurants i dined in during my stay and their food is amazing. It’s a fried beef cutlet that comes with a side of rice, cabbage, mash potato, miso soup and other sides. I’m not sure if they are halal certified but to my understanding their meat is 100% beef. Highly recommend trying it. Also “navitohalal” on instagram is a Japanese dude that does halal restaurant review not just in tokyo but in most major cities like osaka, kyoto and kobe. I’m assuming that might bet where found most of these restaurants but i would highly recommend giving him a follow for those of you looking for halal meal options. I didn’t find his profile until after my trip to japan.
Saving this post as I prefer chicken or soy ramen. Thanks !
The number 3 spot In shinjuku is great. Been there a few times. Try their level 10 spiciness ramen if you’re game. I get it every time!
I went to Ayam-ya by accident and really like their ramen. The brooth is sooooo rich in flavour. Little bit oily but I didn’t mind.
Perfect for I am about to go
This list is great, thanks. Wondering if we can find any halal omurice joint.
the katsu curry at Nikoniko Mazemen is a must try
Tried Ayam-Ya in Osaka. Subpar ramen.
saving!! thank you so much
Honolu is marvellous. I went there 3 times within two weeks haha.
