Does anyone know how to make Yuba cheese from Arashiyama?

This thing sold in Arashiyama is soooo good and I want to make it at home. It appears to be surimi with cheese in it, covered in yuba and deep fried. My Japanese is nowhere near good enough to search through Japanese Google to try and find an imitation of this recipe–I’m hoping there are some recipes out there. Would anyone happen to know if I can find a recipe to make this anywhere? Thanks!

  1. I found this recipe, but it uses pre-made products such as [this](https://www.abekama.co.jp/i/883) or [this](https://ec.jal.co.jp/shop/g/g0027-4902782009416-Q5/). Therefore, if you cannot obtain them, you will need to make your own fish paste with cheese. [This](https://www.ienomistyle.com/trend/20190525-2766) is a website that shows how to make it, but it seems to take a lot of time and effort. I haven’t tried yuba cheese before, but I’ve had mozzarella cheese skewers at a [kushi-katsu](https://www.foodinjapan.org/kansai/kushi-katsu/?expand_article=1) restaurant. I speculate that yuba cheese might be similar to that. How about wrapping cheese with mochi instead of surimi, sandwiching it between yuba, and deep-frying it?
