Professor visa w/ a bit of translation work?

I’m currently on a Humanities visa but have contracts to work at universities next spring, so I am planning to switch to a Professor visa. At the moment, I the contracts I have don’t quite add up to 200,000/month over the course of a year, though I’m not far off. I have another contract for some translation work which would put me over the threshold. The professor work would still be the majority of my income. Does anyone have experience combining some outside work in a visa application like this? A little mix and match? My gut tells me it will work, but I wonder.

  1. Best thing to do would be to call the hotline 0570-013904

They’d be able to tell you if you can, and how to compile your paperwork to show it. Or at least point you to who can

  2. Generally work outside the scope of your status isn’t considered, but individual circumstances always matter.
