May Intinerary Check

Going for 20 days in country in May and would love advice.
We’re late 30s Husband and wife from Scotland, average fitness. Into Anime, Video games but also want to explore the history and culture. We want to enjoy food and really enjoy good cocktail experiences. We like good spa experiences as well hence the number of onsens etc.

Travel will be shinkansens between cities and then public transport as needed.

6/5 arrive Narita late evening, sort out Welcome Suica and pocket wifi. Hotel in Narita. Arrange with hotel to send Luggage to Tokyo for 8/5

7/5 Head to Tokyo, Check out Harajuku, Meiji shine, Don Quiote for snacks and essentials, Golden Gai for food and drink then Capsule hotel in Shinjuku

8/5 Teamlabs (Planets or Azabudai), Tokyo sky tree and shopping. Check in hotel in Ginza and collect luggage

9/5 Tsujiki Outer Market, Kabuki Theatre, Window Shopping in Ginza Send baga to Kyoto for 11/5

10/5 Travel to Hakone, Hakone Open Air Museum, Ropeway, Check in Ryokan

11/05 late checkout/ wander Hakone, Travel to Kyoto, Tea Ceremony with Geisha, Fushimi Inari for sunset, Pontocho Alley for dinner. Hotel in Higashiyama

12/05 8am Bamboo forest, Monkey park, Samurai experience, Melon books for figurines

13/05 Kimono Hire, Ninezaka St., Nishi Market, Shop vintage kimono, Gion for Evening stroll and dinner send bags to Osaka for 15/05

14/05 Travel to Nara, Feed Deer, Mochi shop, explore park , Travel to Osaka, Hotel near USJ

15/05 USJ day with Express Pass Hotel near Shinsaibashi,

16/05 Osaka Castle, Dontonburi, Shinsekai

17/05 Namba Yasaka Shrine, Ota Street, Check out a maid cafe. Store bags at hotel for return to Osaka

18/05 Travel to Hiroshima, Peace Memorial and atomic bomb dome, Travel to Miyajima, Hotel in Miyajima

19/05 Itsukushima Shine, Miyajima Ropeway Travel back to Osaka

20/05 Explore Shinsabashi, Tattoo friendly Onsen (Tbc), Waygu Kaiseki meal

21/05 Travel with bags to Tokyo

21/05-25/05 Hotel tbc, visit Asakusa, Sensoji, Memory Lane, Kappabashi and Akhibara, Shopping.

26/05 Tattoo Friendly Onsen/Private bath, Lunch then head to Narita for evening flight.

Does this seem feasible on our time frame? Similarly would you have recommendations for anything we missed? up to 20/05 all hotels are booked so we’re pretty fixed for our home base but other than the Tea ceremony and Samurai experience nothing else is set when it is.

If folx have opinions?

I’d like to find somewhere to try Fugu but aware its out of season and most places do it as Kaiseki set and I’m not a massive fish/ seafood fan.
