Wise Japan manual transfer help. ( Yucho to pay pay )
I’m trying to make a transfer to wise via a manual transfer from my Yucho account to the wise pay pay account but when I use the Yucho Atm it asks for a 5 digit code for domestic transfers? The information that wise gave didn’t match what the options that Yucho domestic transfer prompted ? I also don’t the same the exact functions for it in Japanese it’s a lot of kanji, I don’t know how to do a manual transfer with Yucho to the wise PayPay manual has anyone successfully done it before? Tired looking it up and been running in circles looking for answers. Any help I would greatly appreciate.

You need to choose “other banks” when sending from ATM, there’s a choice when you press ご送金 , something like this : https://gmo-aozora.com/assets/priv/contents/atm-guide/img/guide-04-2.png
By the way do not use english menu, it probably limits transfers to only yucho bank lol. more details here for sending to GMO bank but the principle is same https://gmo-aozora.com/priv/contents/atm-guide-04.html
I do transfers from my Yuucho to PayPay bank all the time. Set up ゆうちょ通帳アプリ and ゆうちょ認証 on your phone so it can do bank transfers and never have to go to the ATMs anymore.
You may have selected intra-bank transfer on the ATM, which is why it is asking for a 5 digit code (yuucho branch number). Definitely don’t use the english option. There should be guides on how to do it in Japanese somewhere
