I messed up bad and left a piece of luggage on the train in Tokyo in the midst of trying to get my 3 year old off. Of course I didn’t have a luggage tag on it 🤦🏻♀️ and I had just moved my AirTag into another bag.
I’ve called five different stations and either no luck, or they don’t speak English well enough to understand. Does anyone have a more clear or easier way to attempt finding it? I can’t find any websites for help.
I was on the akusen line, and we started at Higashi-ginza station and got off at Shinagawa, where I realized we left it. It’s a large teal backpack.
Beyond having some nice gifts in it, it had my AirPods and a mouth retainer which will cost me to replace. Any ideas? We leave tomorrow and I’d be willing to pay someone for help. Thank you!

Go to the station you got off at physically and speak to the office for the right company there. Should have done that the moment you knew it was on the train.
And figure out the actual name of the train you were on, pretty sure akusen isn’t it. You probably mean Asakusa.
Maybe this:

Lost in found ia your best bet, physically go.
Take a photo of each of your bags and luggage now, in case your lost a bag or luggage next time, just show them the photo and they will be able to guess you are looking for a lost and found
Your AirPods can be tracked in your “find my” by choosing device at the bottom of the screen, as long as they aren’t completely out of battery and they were paired to your phone you will be able to find them
