Need some traditional or local music recommendations, pretty pleaseee

I have been getting a little more bored each passing day with my usual English, Spanish and Japanese music. Would really appreciate some music recommendations from y’all. Something that just can be called a part of the heritage if that makes sense.

  1. Try enka. I am a big fan of Fuji Ayako but it’s a deep well. Or check out Tsugaru shamisen. Or check out some enka with shamisen like Nagayama Yoko doing Jonkara bushi or Ishikawa Sayuri doing Amagigoe.

  2. Try some Okinawan folk music. Very different feel from the rest of Japan.
