Nara would be fun for your kids
>Yamazaki Distillery Tour
Make sure the tour you pick allows minors. Not all of them do.
In Kyoto, I’d highly recommend the railway museum and Kyoto Toei Studio Park for kids.
If your preschooler can walk, expect him or her to be tired. If you’re planning to take a stroller, some of the places you’ll visit will be difficult for pushing the stroller. Akihabara, I would think, would bore a preschooler. Consider instead the science museum in Ueno (near the zoo).
Ueno Zoo is very old (100+ years) and the enclosures are small. It will not be like more modern zoo you may have visited. A lot of people find it a depressing experience, just saying.
No advice, but will be traveling to those areas with my preschooler on those days, ping me If your younger kiddo would like a playmate! 🥰
How far are you coming from? I would hesitate to plan a Disneyland visit that early in the vacation if there’s a chance you’ll be terribly jet-lagged. Disney is so costly and such a long day that I’d want to go when we’re likely to be fully functioning. I’d move Disney to the last Tokyo day.
