I am a permanent resident in Japan who needs to receive one time passwords (OTP) from the US via SMS.
I’ve been getting by over the years since some companies send OTP to my email address, and some send to my Google voice number.
I’ve encountered some situations where I need to have a “real”US cell phone number since they can see that the Google voice number is not that.
Looking through some old posts and the Internet I see a service called Anveo but nothing recent.
Anybody using this with success? I just need a cheap service who will provide me with a “real” cell phone number that companies will accept and send OTP via SMS that will then be relayed to my Japanese iPhone number.
I don’t need anything else like phone calls or data. I have my Japanese cell phone for that. Thanks
