Hi, is there any app that shows kanji readings after scanning any text?
I mostly use Google Translate to survive, but it automatically translates whatever I scan. It is convenient, but I’d like to learn to read.
If I missed a similiar post in here, apologies.

If you’re using the google translate camera feature, take a snapshot and this menu will appear at the bottom. Tap “Send to Translate Home” and everything it scanned will go to the main translate page. Or if you highlight a specific section then press it, it will move that section only to the main translate page.
Hope that helps!

Older versions of Google Translated used to allow this easily. Now you have to juggle your way through several taps
Yes, it’s called learning Japanese.
I’m only being half sarcastic here; if you need the language to survive, you should probably invest in learning it, instead of relying on an app.
I frequently use KanjiLookup it’s great. You can also draw a quick sketch of the kanji and it will suggest various ones for you. This is the iOS link if you’re on apple [KanjiLookup App](https://apps.apple.com/jp/app/kanji-lookup/id973780102?l=en-US) Android link [Android KanjiLookup](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.telethon.kanjilookup&pcampaignid=web_share)
Nihongo app for iPhone works great for me.
I think chat GPT could help
