watched it the other day. It’s just a great movie. not just a great Godzilla movie. Anyone who’s remotely interested should go watch it.
Is it still going to be in theaters in japan on Dec 27th?
It’s legitimately one of the best films of the year in my opinion. What a world we live in…
Really? I thought they run it for like a month or something
Only $15 million budget too…that’s really impressive
Awesome movie
I’m watching paint dry waiting to watch this one
I’m a high priestess. I demand an early screening!
I didn’t catch it while I was in Tokyo 2 weeks ago. Now waiting for news for this to come Singapore. Hope it makes it to our screen here.
And that’s slow in two definitions
Saw it, great film. It feels like an 90s action movie in that it takes itself seriously (i.e. not jokey or randomly making fun of itself), and like classic Japanese films where the melodrama is turned up to 11. Godzilla’s destructive ability is badass and totally satisfying.
Not as good as Shin Godzilla imho but ridiculously impressive for the budget. A theatre thrill ride that wipes away the bad taste of all the boring superhero movies.
